I'm sad because there is so little interesting content for me in the NPC dnd. but this sadness turns me into a monster who wants to write fanfiction.
Laethil to the brutos song? Damn right.
The meeting of Adam and Baradun? Why not
Bob/Baradun? PLEASE.
It's just spinning in my head. I'm crazy fr.

Suddenly I realized that I had spent a whole year with you.
I'm soooo glad that one day I decided to cut out a gif and post it here.
@platearmourpiglet @baelinsrod @graphicabyss @portalaway
You know everything that I want to say from the bottom of my heart. You've made my year a little lighter and easier.
So, let's preserve and multiply our joy from the VLDL's creativity. ✨🥹❤️
And the new members of the fandom, I'm also glad that you're here, I hope we can get to know each other better in the future. ✨
Hope that the New Year will be happier for all of us.

Now, those who want Laethil dead have decided to take a different approach, claiming that Kelothac needs to be saved, which means Laethil must die.
But:
• Why do people think Kelothac was ever good? He’s a drow. Who are often not implied to be the ones who are the good guys. Besides, he is a drow who abused Laethil. The hag’s line about this, if I remember correctly, was similar to what was said in BG3 about a wizard who abused his apprentice.
• Why does BatD need to choose who to save if Kelothac wasn’t evil? Can’t they try to save both?
• Why do people even think that Kelothac, who knew about the prophecy and was actively seeking it, wasn’t trying to become a deity himself? Maybe he’s content with the fact that he’s now a god of revenge (or in this non-classical D&D the dark lord, but in fact it is the one who has the functions of a deity) and doesn’t need to be same as before .
In the meantime, there’s still an option to save Laethil and leave Kelothac (Lako'thec) as he is or make it the same as he was before (I doubt he'll even want to). Any decision can be made without the need for either of them to die.
P.S. And yes, they might even try to persuade the hag to break the pact. I’m not sure how they would manage that, though. But who knows what they could come up with. In any case, it's still a possibility.

Is there on tumblr anyone here who primarily loves NPC D&D characters and didn't know about VLDL guys at all before watching this show? I am one of those people. Yes, I ship Laethil/Yarris, that's my OTP, and I also ship Laethil/Baradun and Laethil/Kelothac. But I had absolutely no idea who the VLDL guys were until I got into the NPC D&D (now known as Adventures of Azerim) fandom.

Aaawww, Bodger is sharing his hammer (which is rightfully his) with all of us!
Isn't he selfless? 🥰

Maybe I'm not so good at drawing, but I want to see more content about the characters that I like. Fanfiction, fanart, anything. And since it is almost non-existent here I must post this. Laethil and Kelothac (whose hand is visible here)

In one of the episodes, we will learn about all the backup characters of the DND campaign: Isaac, Baelin, Eugene and Alfie. And. U know what? it was really interesting for me to look at their interactions. maybe read some fanfiction or see a special episode about it. i really think abou it.

I don't need Laethil as a serial killer. Thanks. I thought he was only mean and dangerous to the High Sorcerers and those who help them. Not "a villain because he is a villain". I thought that he could truly sincerely do something good for people. That's why they are on his side. And not "he was pretending to be good". Maybe it is not necessary then to make him "evil because he is evil"? So what about the "gray morality"? Was it trolling? And I bought into it.
Yarris also had the potential to be a complex character. The guy who was a good, but because of the influence of Laethil… And what are we being offered now? Wow, another villain because he's a villain? Right? I hope I'm wrong at least here.
Is it to make the "good guys" look better in front of them? I hope not. Because that would be a very wrong decision.
Main characters, must be kind and did many good things (and it's not killing somebody), not everyone else must be more terrible than them or dead, or both. There is no need to make someone "more evil". Let these guys help save someone, help heal someone, get a couple of kittens out of the trees. Not "Let's make Laethil eat a couple of kittens for breakfast, that would make Baradun better than him".
